On December 14th, the second-year follow-up meeting of the ZEPPELIN project (CDTI missions) was held at the Redexis offices in Madrid.
The main objective of the ZEPPELIN project is to investigate a flexible set of green hydrogen production and storage technologies based on the utilization of waste and by-products, seeking to significantly improve the costs and efficiency of producing this energy vector.
PERSEO Biotechnology S.L. participates in the generation of advanced bioethanol from organic and cellulosic waste. The bioethanol is used as a chemical intermediate to generate H2 through steam catalytic reforming, while the residual vinasse is also used to generate H2 through a dark fermentation process, thus proposing a zero-waste biorefinery model
